Lesley Gibbes is an award winning, internationally published children’s author, teacher and presenter.
She is the author of more than fourteen books for children. Her books include CBCA Honour Book Scary Night, CBCA Shortlisted Book Searching For Cicadas, Whitley Award Winner Fluke, Dinosaur Dads, A Boat Of Stars (poetry anthology) and the hilarious chapter book series Fizz.
Lesley’s writing has received acknowledgement from The Children’s Book Council of Australia, The Royal Zoological Society of NSW, The Wilderness Society, Speech Pathology Australia, International School Libraries Network Singapore and The American Booksellers Association.
Her latest book is the picture book Dinosaur Dads to the Rescue.
