Andrew McDonald is the author of the bestselling Real Pigeons junior fiction series. He loves writing stories that make kids laugh, wonder and leap into the air with surprise. His books have been shortlisted for the Readings Children’s Book Prize and the Australian Book Industry Awards.
Andrew is best known as the co-creator of the bestselling series Real Pigeons with illustrator Ben Wood. The series is to be published in 11+ countries. In 2020 the pigeons were be released in Germany, US & Canada and in the UK in 2021.
Andrew and Ben are also the co-creators of the new graphic novel series Hello Twigs.
